Cool 93 Explorer no-start

Trying to sell my 93 Explorer but can't get it started. Turns over fine. Has spark, as evidenced by cross-arcing of previous set of plug wires. When I push the shrader valve on the fuel line, there is no fuel pressure, no fuel at all. Fuel pump relay is clicking, 1/4 tank of fuel.

Antitheft light in dash blinks when cranking if door is open. I did not see the antitheft light ever before when I bought the truck. I removed the door panels and sold them. Is there a switch on the door panel that is missing that is activating the antitheft? Alarm is not going off.

Is there any way to check for power to the fuel pump without dropping the tank? Will putting in another door panel deactivate the antitheft? It's a Limited, if that helps....

I don't know anything about the antitheft system, nor how it ties in to the fuel pump circuit. Hopefully someone else here can fill you in.

Is there any way to check for power to the fuel pump without dropping the tank?
On my '92, the connector for the fuel pump can be accessed without dropping the tank. It is just aft of the tank, kind of above the rear axle, coming out of the driver's frame rail. Of course, there are also several other points along the circuit where you can access the fuel pump circuit (the relay, the inertia switch, the fuse).

But I don't know how useful probing the circuit will be until you know how the antitheft figures into the fuel pump circuit.

I read that the inertia switch is in the driver's kick panel. True or false? Not in passenger's kick panel like full size trucks....

The inertia switch will be inside, on the firewall, just to the right (passenger side) of the transmission hump, under the edge of the carpet.

If you have power to the inertia switch, then the problem is between the inertia switch and the fuel pump. Do you hear the FP run when you turn the key to the ON postion?

Thanks for the feedback, will check these things out later when I have time or when potential buyer comes back.

Anyone else know anything about the anti theft?
