I will never post in this forum ever again, All you guys do is you dig up personal info. to use against the person that u are arguing with. If you are loosing an argument just drop it. you don't have to personly humiliate them. I started this forum to get some information using the poll, but all you guys want to do is argue. At least the guys in the 67-72 forum gave me information, not an argument. Thanks for the help.....NOT.

Yea its a musing to you, great, but these guys dont understand all i wanted was some information, and all i got is a bunch of people who think they are cool by bring up my age, where i'm from, or how many logins i have. It is all irrelivant. So we talk about trucks or we end this forum.

you mean like the way you are trying to personly humiliate those of us without ford engines in our trucks, there are plenty of places you can go and argue and flash your awsome rub on tattoos

ehem.......what was this thread about.......oh yeah,

My '54 has the original 223, three on the tree that it had when it rolled off the line. My '64 econoline has the original 170, three on the tree. I keep them as stock as I can, including points, oil bath air cleaner, 6v positive ground electrical system, etc.

Because this is the right way to do it? No. Because I'm from the "Light Side" (what's the opposite of "Dark Side", anyway?), no, because its what I like. I use my trucks as time machines, the lousy mileage, solid axle handling and 4:1 gear ratios keep me from getting in a hurry and take me back to a simpler time. That's how I like it. My buddy Joe, wants a truck that will handle better than his 350z and he hasnt stopped modifying it since he's had it. That's how he likes it.

The great thing about this forum is the diversity of the people and trucks that they have. That's what makes this place so interesting and fun to read. If everyone was like me, there would be a bunch of posts discussing 2 minute quarter miles and how often to change the oil in the air breather.

In the right hand lane,

Ole' Green

I may only be 18 but i have way more respect for others then you will ever have. Being a d*** head will get you no where. What do u care, you own 4 vehical none of which have a Ford motor, good job. Get it right i aint humiliating you, i was trying to persuade more people to put fords in ther trucks. Some people had to be smart a**es and start an argument, which i had little support from the true FTE guys,

I put a Honda GX340 engine in my Polaris Quad...made it rear-engine too.

What have I got now...?

FWIW, I've always been a Chevy Fan, but over the years have grown so tired of seeing the SBC in everything as well.

Now a BBC is a different story!

The data tells the story. 25% of the 48-60 forum are darksiders and are going to defend what they have at all cost (i.e. name calling). Nuge, You don't have to stoop that low. Back on the 67-72 forum it is 100% ford in a Ford. That is why you haven't run into this before on the 67-72 forum. If I were you, Nuge, I'd just stay with the 67-72 crowd. These 48-60 guys are thin skinned and run by the minority.

I am glad you now have the data. It truely shows you where the mind of this forum is.

Nuge, don't let these guys get you rattled.

This thread has obvious ruffled some feathers. If I were the moderator, I would close and delete this thread as there is no more to be gained by it. The data has been collected and Nuge got what he wanted (the reason for the personal attacks).

I am not a darksider and seldom post, but I read and learn a lot from all of you on this forum. I hope no one stops posting because of this thread. I need all of your advice to keep my 60 on the road.
