I beat the crap out of myself over posting in this thread, but I lost. I also won. The thing is, if you or we continue to post to him, he will continue baiting.
I can assure you and him, if this was my last site, he would have been warned once with a 10 or more day time out. Then it may have been a permanent ban.

I do agree with mtflat. Polls like this do provide a lot of statistical values. If that is what this poll was intended, then great, if it was a rouse to get the fires lit, then oh man, I can see it now.

Ther reason for the poll was for the statisics, after chating with many guys i was curious about how many people actually had a Ford engine or "another" (anything not a Ford). I didn't state anything trying to picka fight with anyone. I just wanted to know the numbers of Ford V. Other Brands.

These forums are designed for all of use to give our "2cents" on a particular subject. I haven't said nor done anything to need to get "warned", "time out", or "banned" from this site. All i'm lookin for is a difference in the 2 different years of trucks. If u have a problem with that then don't repost. I wouldn't want your input anyway.

OK, lets all take a step back and take a few deep breaths. It seems like feathers are starting to get ruffled. Remember that the written word has its limitations and its very easy for things to be misread. A simple tongue in cheek comment can very easily be misconstrued as something it was never intended to be.

Lets not turn this into a pissing match. We're all friendly guys and gals here

Judging from the responses to the poll, the data shows that the darksiders are in a minority as far as the Ford in a Ford part goes. I don't think we can truly delineate between darksiders and lightsiders though as there are tons of darksiders that have crafted beautiful trucks using all Ford componentry.

tell u the truth i wont even look at your truck if i see a chevy, or any non ford motor, I beleive it is the CHEAP way out. anyone can buy a chevy motor and drop it in, the real Ford Truck Enthusiasts restore the flathead, y-block or FE engine that there Ford truck had. I don't even care if you put a 302, or a non-original Ford motor in there, u already purchased a Ford just buy a Ford motor for it. That or buy a chevy truck. Us True Blue guys hate to see that. Ford engines arnt that much money.

Nuge- This is your post not even a week ago on the same subject "Ford in a Ford". 52 posts from other people in this website stated their opinions about a Ford in a Ford and the fact that a Ford is the only way to go. So why the poll and this subject again? No offense, but I don't believe it's about the numbers, but pounding the fact that having anything besides a Ford in a Ford is unexceptable. Nobody is going to ban anyone, or give them warnings here. But this subject causes tension for certain people in here. Yes your entitled to your opinions, and we all want to hear them, but like I said before, we've beat this subject to death. We don't need to put salt in the wounds. Like my buddy Rodney King said, "Can't we all just get along?" My feathers aren't ruffled, but I will tell you I'm so done with this topic!. My two pennies guys.

Nuge....Just a couple points here to confirm your intentions regarding this post in the 1948 to 1960 group...Your rig is a 1968 so you might see why some may think you came over to pick a fight. To prove a point look at my Sig and tell me how you really feel....

This picture in your gallery clearly states how you feel about the whole idea of a sbc in a Ford.

This to would likely invoke a fight from some that may take offence....

Some of the comments that were made in the Ford that is not a Ford indicates that you are true blue and your age may have some influence on your inability to get you point across in a politically correct manner. Your apparent dedication to the Ford in a Ford statement is surely influenced by the fact that your father is a Ford Engineer as you indicated in another post.

Even some of the new vehicles on the market today don't have engines by the same manufacturer take for instance my 2007 F-350 Super-duty....who manufactures that engine.....GM and Dodge also run diesel engines produced by other independent manufacturers.

The only thing in any of these new vehicles today that truly belongs to the manufacturer is the assembly of the thousands of parts produced by the hundreds of suppliers that make similar parts for all of the brands.

Keep your chin up and remember...opinions are like a**holes everyone has one.

If Ted "The Nuge" Nuget read the stuff you are writing he's hunt you down and slap you silly for implicating him in your crap.
Maybe, just maybe someone will step up for good ol' Ted.

Yes I'm Baiting, poking a stick at, antagonizing, and making fun of this dweeb (Oh, and calling him names), but I just can't help myself, it's soooooooo easy.

Well as for Darksiders. I'm putting a 350 TPI and tranny in my 50f1 for one reason. I checked out all the ford engines I could find that were any good. A grand for the engine plus another 500 to 800 for a good AOD. I am on a strict budget on my truck. I want a GOOD everyday driver. I bought a 89 IROC Z from my daughter(she was going through a divorce and needed the money) that runs great. And is VERY FAST SRAGE 3. I bought the car for 500 dollars. So you tell me. What would you have done. I love my old ford. Not the first one I ever had. Darkside yes I am. Because I want to be, not really. BUT I'm on the 48-60 because I have one. WHY ARE YOU HERE. To cause trouble. I don't force the fact that I'm a darksider. It hardly ever comes up. Am I ashamed NO. It's my truck, I paid for it and I can do what ever I want to with it. I like everyone I talk to on this forum. And I don't care what they run in the trucks they drive. To each his own. You would probably be better off to try to get all the knowledge you can get from these fine people. There's a lot of it if you have an open mind and a shut mouth. Well I'll get off my box now. My friends yall have a nice day. (and yall know who you are)

Hmmmm......

So tell me young man, why is it that you have the same birthdate, live in the same town as, have the same instant messaging name as, have the same interests as, claim to have the same truck as nugecrazy?

What are you playing at here? 2 profiles? Seems a bit fishy to me

Its my opinion that whatever small amount of credibility that you had is shot to h**l

That absolutely ROCKS!
I've got a 302/c4 in my 51, but a MB Diesel would be outstanding.

Your name does stand for Michigan Truck Club doesn't it? It was your very first post. The same IM name does raise eyebrows.

Anyways FTE is normally very strict on people with two user names, if you really are two different people then you have nothing to worry about.
