jumping brakes?
Hi, i have a 1986 f-250 with a 6.9 diesel in it. The brakes are pretty much new, but when i am goin down a hill with some decent pressure on um they like to jump and vibrate alot. Any ideas?

75% of the braking is on the front rotors so if your rotors are warped, it'll make the truck bounce around like it's on a washboard road. I've had 5 trucks over the years and 3 of them had warped front rotors and everytime I hit the brakes, it'd jump and vibrate like you describe.
You can get new rotors or you can have the old ones turned if they aren't too thin already.

Ball Joints
Lift the tire that does it, and try to shake it around, you may have bad ball joints, With a warped rotor its not that kinda of vibration, more of a jerk, jerk, I'm sure yours feels like its bouncing real hard on that side. Buddy has 95 F150 same issue.
