Jump seat conversion

I have a 1998 XLT 4x4 Ranger with jump seats in the back. Is there anyway to take jump seats out, and replace with a bench seat?

Sell the Ranger, buy an Explorer.

You can remove them (I've removed mine), but there are no options for a bench.

It would be very impractical anyhow. There's hardly enough room for a small person sitting sideways in the jump-seats as it is (as I'm sure you're aware). Anyone small enough to sit front-ways in a bench seat would probably be a candidate for a baby seat.

Get a couple of seats that bolt to the bed? Get a camper cover for the bed, then put a mattress on the bed and let the riders lie down as you go from here to there.
