I'm moving from Las Vegas, NV, to Kentucky. I have some projects that need to get there, but their not drivable: 64 f100, 76 f150, and an old cushman industrial truck.
Any suggestions beyond retail car transporters? They look really expensive. Is there a good way to haul them all in one shot?
What ever I spend getting them there I can't spend fixing them. I wanna do this cheap if possible.
I would look at a small private hauler. What you spend in gas towing it and going back for the other would cost a lot of bucks. I would have someone haul two and drive the third with a trailer to move my stuff.
I don't know what the Cushman is, but, I think the 76 is probably the best bet as it probably has at least a 351w and front disc brakes.

Thanks!
I would say forget the Cushman.. Not worth the money to transport it.
Sell the cushman to help pay for the shipping..
Rent 2 UHaul trucks with trailers and have a friend/wife/brother...etc drive the other one down for you..
Check with KY trucking companies near the town you are moving to, they might be out NV way and would be coming back empty. A couple of transporters I know want $3/mile each vehicle.
Check your local truck stop. They have boards listing trucks needing loads. You can check around and see if you can get a deal. We can get cars shipped from New Mexico for 5/6 hundred bucks. I'm in the Houston, Tx., area. We just received one from Tennessee for $350. Hotshots are generally cheaper. You can also check your local auto auctions. They will have a listing of transporters. jd
BTW, I work at an engineering firm here in WV, we had a big job in California a couple months ago and had to ship a bunch of fabricated pieces out there that took up about half of a 52' flatbed.
Hotshots were quoting us $2000+ to ship the stuff.
We eventually hooked up with a trucking company that combined us with another route and the price was somewhere below that, but I don't know what the price actually was.
What a great bunch of suggestions! Thanks, guys. There are a couple really big truck stops here in Vegas, at each end of I-15. I'll definitely check them first, then start looking from there.
As for fixing one and pulling the other, I left out mentioning my Escape, Mini, Suburban and Ducati. I need a whole auto transporter I guess.
Or maybe I should have gotten some of these projects finished before starting others...
