KAM = "Keep Alive Memory". It's supposed to remember everything specific to your particular truck. Sounds like it's dumping for some reason. I've read about that before, but can't recall what the cause was. I'm sure someone will chime in with the goods...
As far as I know KAM stands for Keep Alive Memory...it is where the OBDII system stores info about the problems it finds in the trucks systems. I have no idea why you would find that as an error though. We usually get DTC codes reported, this is the first time I have ever heard of a KAM error.
Yes i just put a juice with attitude on it yesterday. It seems to be doing better. I cleared the code and let it sit for a while. Im a little nervous tho about the programmer. It seems to give it alot more power. But sounds like its knocking or something when it idles.

Well your fun with Edge has just begun. Hope you get better support than some I have heard here. To answer your question though, the KAM error is likely tied to the tuner and not a cause of the knock, (the KAM error), the knock is likely from increased oil pressure to the injectors from the tune.

Uhmm, well, I better shut up because the links escape me at the moment, but I have seen posts about customer support when Edge stuff goes on the fritz and it wasn't pretty. Since I have not archived any of that I will shut up except to say I have seen them.
We agree where the KAM error may come from and that is probably about it. I am sure the Edge tunes are far better than stock. So is a 10K mod too though.
EDIT: BTW, my #8 LL injector is louder with my DP as it was with the TS. He has a LL too.
have you unhooked the batteries ??? I have pulled that code a couple of times..Amiller told me it was do to the batteries being un hooked for too long then re hooked..both times I unhooked them that code would should show up..it may show a couple more times but then it will go away...
when i had the edge on my truck when i got on it hard i would see the check engine light flash momentarily, one of the codes i always got was the kam
i think u may have someting else going on there with your truck!i never get that check engine light when i get on it with my edge tuner!but i cant point u in the right direction!
P0603/P0605 is normal to read off after installing a chip or programmer or you disconnected the batteries or there was some kind of power loss to the PCM.
P0606 is questionable. It does mean internal PCM failure, but doesn't mean it is completely toasted. Recoverable, maybe. ???
Which code are you getting?
