i am convinced after riding in one of his chipped rigs, insane power, the rough idle is really cool when its cranked all the way up, feels almost like a dead injector on a stock truck, i am still leary on the whole physical chip thing though, i have had so many bad experiences with them while working at the dealers

I just dont get how so many people have problems with chips?
last two trucks were chipped, over 150K miles and I dont even use duct tape...they must be scraping the board thickness down to nothing so the chip wiggles all around. lol!!!
the ones i had to replace pcm's in looked ok, not overdone, no scratches in the boards, i dont know what caused it but the pcm's were done, some even came up as mercury mondao's, that was the first clue upon tow in, well that and the stickers on the trucks...
