Engine codes 41 and 32

Well, I rebuilt my 302 H.O. engine and got it in my 88 Bronco just fine. It seems to be running good although my check engine light will turn on every once in a while. I did a Key on Engine Off test and pulled codes 41 and 32. Where should I be looking to find my problem?

This site says:

41 HEGO sensor circuit indicates system lean (right side).

32 EVP circuit below minimum voltage of 0.24 volts.

Simpler:

41: memory shows that the truck was run for 15 secs or longer lean
32: Check the EGR valve sensor. Use a hand pump to check it.

thanks chexmix, I will have to see what is causing that to have run lean. I hope that it is just a vacuum leak. When I drive at a constant speed I can feel the engine surge about every 5 seconds or so like someone is turning the a/c off and on. It is just so bloody hot here that I have not had the energy to check it out. Having mono does not help either.

Well I went through and found some vacuum leaks and took care of them all. I am still getting a check engine light, so I am going to have to try an pull the codes again and see whats up. How do you erase continous memory codes?

Pull the negative off your terminal for a bit. Reconnect. CM cleared.

You may need a new O2 sensor...
