Locked Outlook by trying to send Clint all those pictures. I guess I'll shutdown and try tomorrow it's really getting to me. Maybe I did get a heat stroke after all like Mike says.

Another thought on the money saving idea...between the group of us we're all pretty mechanically inclined, and trannies don't take up much space.
I'd be up for a "group-tranny-rebuild-parts-swap" day, if planned correctly we could have all tools and a rebuild manual on hand that we should be able to follow.
Anyone up to giving it a shot?

If you want to do it as a learning experience, I have the rebuild manual from TCI, plus the C6 is well covered in several of my factory shop manuals. I don't think we need any special tools, but my neighbor suggests we use a brake drum off a big truck to hold the tranny upright while we work on it.
The hardest part is a super clean area to work on it.
But what of the time and frustration Dan is feeling? I am sure he is ready to get this truck out of his hair so he can work on his own projects!
