I ditched the DPF and am running a pipe in its place, local exhaust shop hooked me up! Im tryin to find a aftermarket down pipe. Any ideas where to get one? Right now im runnin stock system without the DPF. Sounds premo! No regens are codes. truck smokes like its packin tunes already, lol. Turbo sounds great to. cant wait to finsh my custom intake setup.
Your one brave puppy to void your warranty on a brand new 50k truck. I bet those dual turbos really sing. Post a video link if possible we all want to hear it. Did you ditch the cat and the muffler as well????
Its straight piped right now. Voided warranty!!!!!! You mean that...... oh no, hahaha. Warranty at this point is of my last concern. Im tired of gettin sh1tty fuel mileage in the city because of regens. Im not worried about the motor at all, i have faith. My dealer takes care of me pretty well so Im not worried about lost warranty over the DPF removal. Sounds great tho!

I dont think you need a bigger Downpipe, I read somewhere that it comes with a 4" one already from the factory....but that doesnt mean they didnt flatten it out for clearance issues.

I would get a tune that turns off the regen as soon as it comes out. Apparently the truck will regen after a set amount of time or miles (not sure which one). There is a guy on another site that gutted his dpf and after time it went in to regen even though the restriction was not there. I think he had to get a new dpf for like $2500 to get it to stop. Hopefully this is just internet bs, and you won't have any problems though. Aside from that, awesome. How bout a vid.
I saw that too, his truck sounded pretty cool, too bad it got t boned. The guy I am refering to is on the same site, but he gutted his dpf instead of straight piping it. Maybe thats the reason it was stuck in regen.

What did they do with the pressure sensor in front of the DPF? I've heard that it needs to read some degree of pressure to not trip codes or the regen cycle. I'v heard some people angle the pressure sensor towards the incoming flow of exhaust to trick it for stright pipe applications.
