Any manual trans with V8 after 93 is a rarity in the F150 . But more with 302 that 351.
As for push button in a manual . Most loaded Xlt that had the manual had the auto xsfer case in the trucks I have been looking at .
How common? Probably impossible. Push button 4x4 was only available in the F-150, with a V8 and automatic transmission. The 94, 95, and 96 brochures state this. I can't find any proof in the 91, 92, or 93 brochures, but have never personally seen one that isn't V8/auto. Maybe a few did exist in these first years of it.
The ECU that controls the 4x4 will demand that the trans be in park or neutral before it will allow you to do 4x4 low, so you will need to fool it into thinking that is the case since you will be removing the MLPS that tells it that info.
But most folks don't like the maybe-it-will-and-maybe-it-won't of the pushbutton setup and replace them with the manual xfer case anyway.
Actually all you have to have is a grounded wire to get the auto transfer to shift into low. The transfer case is a shift on the fly model and was set up with auto transmissions. If you are going manual transmission why would you want a push button transfer case?
ok thanks, i would like to have the manual shift transfer case but with a 3" body lift the lever isnt long enough for it to go into 2hi but it will gointo 4x4 hi and low easy, but i can get an extended linkage for the manual trans. but im not finding any extended linkages for the transfer case.. but thanks for all yalls help!

My bad!!! most of the trucks I look at are for parts. So the manual one I've seen they must have put switch/bezel for electric in dash or put manual trans in and auto truck . Thanks for the info .
