Hey everyone. I have a 1994 f350 dually with a reading utlilty box on the back. Is it possable to put a regular dually bed back on the truck or am I stuck with this thing? The reading box is starting to rust away.
Thanks,
Mike
You should be able to find a replacement bed for the truck. I'm guessing that the utility bed uses the same mounting points as a factory bed does. Check the local boneyards for one. You'll have to find some dually fenders to cover the outsides, but they can be had, as well. A good starting place to find them would be LMC Truck.
You might also consider a flatbed for the truck. Just depends on your wants and needs.
You can use any bed will bolt up . (may have to grind off mount or 2 for the READING . You can get a single wheel bed and put the fenders on if can't find the condition you want. You should have no problem getting a bed in SC that is where I go to get body parts .
If you were 1 month earlier local guy pulled one out of garage he removed in 95. Was like new $1200 . Guy bought it and put it on a 99 Dodge ??
