2005 Upfitter

Can anyone help locate the upfitter connection on 2005 F250. I am looking add rear lighting and want to us upfitter # 3. I believe the connection block is located the behind the glove box. Any assistance would be grateful.

Good Luck - I eventually gave up. Nothingin the Owners Manual that I could find.

One more question if I may, What is the advantage of high idling? Thanks

On the bus's I work on, we use high idle for higher alternator output and A/C when parked.

Also to prevent wet stacking in cold weather.

From what I understand, someone correct me if I misunderstand, the 6.0 runs a bit cold at idle. Wet stacking is what happens because of this. The fuel starts to puddle in the cylinders and leaks down into the crankcase. By high idleing, you keep it warm enough to burn the fuel and prevent this.
