Holy crap your right, I just checked out Standard Motor Products site, they have an on-line parts look-up, and when you go to VSS for 1994 Bronco all they show is the older gear driven styles. These must all be for AOD(E) transmissions. You have to go to Rear ABS sensor for the one in the differential, but as we know it serves both purposes.
crazy huh. all this time i thought the vss was the part in the rear diff. i understand that the rear abs does double duty just major confused at name of part originally.
KOEO
116 Engine coolant temp higher or lower than expected.
115 My book does not show 115
117 Engine coolant temp below minimum voltage.
114 Air charge temperature higher or lower than expected voltage.
111 System pass
111 System pass
KOER can only be done after you get clear codes 111 in KOEO
KOER inclues some tests where your turn the wheel, step on the brake and turn OD on and off once.
Have you checked the connections to the engine coolant temp sensor? It is on driver side, midway along the intake maniford and has two wires running to it.
I went to les schwabs to have a few things checked out and while it was there to pull abs codes. they were unable to do so. now either they flat out didnt do it or something else is wrong to cause no codes from the abs code port.
