Mud Flaps
SO...this weekend I had a discussion about mud flaps with a state trooper. His argument was logical and he was actually pretty cool about things. I went ahead and went by a couple of my local auto parts stores and eventually found a set I could live with, if not a bit on the small side. I went out Sunday to install them, and found there's not really anything structural to attach them to. My question now is where can I get a set that will accommodate a 6" suspension lift, and 33x12.5's ( I already have some fender flares installed ) and what to people generally attach them to ?

Goto truck stop or Semi parts supply house they have light/flexible plastic flaps in different colors.($12.00 or so ) These things are big. I just make card board template and cut out new flap with jigsaw.
I don't need flaps but my bed don't rust out anything like some without flaps around here. I like them Because in rust belt I can cut to fit exactly how I want.

I have a "L" shaped bar that goes through my trailer hitch frame (at the back of my truck) with mud-flaps attached to it and it works great and its easily removable. I get some pics and attach them later.
