my truck is stock as we speak, but i want to do my exhaust. if i run 4" from the cat to a 45 degree coming out infront of the back tire, will that give me that deep diesel sound? so basically i will be getting rid of the muffler and going to 4" pipe from right after the cat. thanks guys
yes it will give you a pretty good sound. even with the stock down pipe. When I did it I took the cat off so your sound might be a bit different but I think you will like it. To see pictures of my red 95 with that setup click my "truck pics" in my sig and find the 1995 exhuast album. I have some good pics of it in there. The only difference in mine is I use a 5" chrome pipe for the tip and i also took out the cat.
