Including pictures in posts
Hi, can anyone advise me how to place pictures in the posts? Specifically, I would like to place my own pictures from my computer into a post occasionally. When I tried to do this before, the only option offered was to get a picture from the internet. I don't want to upload my pictures to the internet.
In the post "What's the difference Cleveland or Windsor?"
HemiEater posted some really nice pictures. This is what I wish to do. Thanks!

you need to post them on the internet somewhere......
there are all kinds of free storage out there, i have my own server here at the house where I put mine.
just upload them and then use the addresss to post them.
I can host the pics for you if you need it.

I have been using WebShots and I like it well enough. www.webshots.com is the URL.
They even supply the links for the pictures you want to post, so you can place them into a forum, email them to someone etc. For example:

I created a gallery in this forum, then copied the link to the picture into the text of my thread. The picture posted in the thread, with no links to click on. Seemed to work for me, if thats not advisable someone please let me know...

p.s. Remember to resize your pictures to a small size, otherwise you end up with a giant photo that others must navigate... This leads to people not being able to see the forest for the trees, if you follow me!
