351 windsor or cleveland

does anyone know if my 88' ford bronco xlt 4x4 has a 351 windsor or cleveland? if it is a winsor is the motor a good one or crappy, and would it be worth fixing the engine up, also how do i tell if it is a big block or small block, and also how do i tell if it is high ouput, and what is so special about high output, oh and the 351 is fuel injected

Well, unless it has been switched out, it is a 351 Windsor. And it is a smallblock. It should say if it is a HO.

It's a Windsor. Cleveland engines haven't been built in the US in 30 years. Any Ford engine, if rebuilt properly, is a good engine. The 351W is in the same engine family as the 302, and is a small block. It's just a little taller, hence wider. I doubt very seriously if your engine is an HO. Mostly only cop cars and 93-95 Lightnings came with a 351 that could have been considered a fuel injected high output engine. I've never seen a fuel injected 351 that actually was called a 351 HO however. As far as I know, the last 351 HO was built in 84, and it had a carb. I'm sure if I'm wrong, somebody will step up. What's special about an HO engine is self explanatory. Higher Output.

351W HO was available through 87, the EFI 351 replaced it for 88.
