Codes and no start?? help

Codes and no start?? help

Working on a freinds truck, told him of the board and would ask for help. Thanks in advance, 1996 ford f250 powerstroke. manual trans, said it was runnin like crud and almost like cutting in and out but would idle decent. Finally completley quit him and he foundn that the fule pump lifter shaft had been broken, replaced lift pump and is got fuel in the filter housing. also already installed a new cam sensor, the first time we pulled codes with my 1705 we got alot but with some ? mnarks,, was told that was becasue of low voltage, now has the batteries fully charged and gettting p1661 p1111 and cpl that we got when the batteries were low ere p0562 and the p1661 and p1280 along with bout ten more,,, we cleared those and feel we made a mistake,,, now the truck just cranks and wont start, high pressure reservoir is remaining full,,, any help is appreciated,, thank you

Check all of the under hood fuses, especially #9 & #22 (they power the IDM & PCM). Check your fuel pressure at the schrader valve on the FPR while cranking.

Codes: p1111 N/A System pass No PCM system faults detected N/A
p1661 PCED OCC signal low Aborts KOEO OCC test Low system voltage, internal PCM fault
p1280 ICP circuit out of range low Uses inferred ICP strategy Open/grounded circuit, biased sensor, PCM
p0562 PCED System voltage low May be temporary condition at crank only Low sys. voltage, charging sys., internal PCM failure

Lol, better hope its that fuse, otherwise you might have you some PCM issues according to those codes

They are tellin him its the HPOP, siad its only coming up to 100 psi, wondering what pump to replace it wiht and what all has to be done, where to look,, ya know,, any help is greatly appreciated, thanks,

With only 100 psi the engine won't run. Check the level in the HPOP

wondering what years of pumps we can interchange,, they are convinced its the hpop, i'm not going to argue, just trying to help them find a cheap replacement,, the deal wants almost 800,,, ebay had a new one for 250 but newer yer,, what years can we all go with and still be ok, thanks

Get a SD HPOP! 99.5 and newer unit. This will help you out in the long run if you plan to do Injects.

with a 96 your really should get the superduty unit. 17* HPOP here is the part number
