and why not the 350? I've always had better luck with chevy motors
While FTE is undoubtedly the best site on the web for Ford truck info, there is a considerable majority here that believe in only Ford drivetrains. While I have a Ford 351C in my 56, many of our members also run Chevy drivelines with no complaint....except the heckling they get from other FTE members.
The admin here puts up with the ribbing, as long as it doesn't decend into "which is better" arguments.
Bottom line: it's your truck. Build it your way.
Welcome to FTE!!!

You might want to do a search here on Jag, IFS, front suspensions, etc for tons of info. This is a VERY active site with lots of hands on experienced people who are real enthusiasts and always willing to help.
