the 1748 comes up as a EPC malfunction in all the list I can find
the 1728 says either a solenoid malfunction or mechanical problem
Either one is not good! Does the tranny seem to slip at all? I am not very good at diagnosing trannies. maybe somebody else has a good idea. How does the fluid look and smell? if it dark and smells burnt it can't hurt to change the fluid.
