I've had the wind noise since I bought the truck 2 yrs ago and have read alot about it on here. This is really an update on how everyones wind noise is now after whatever fix they have done.
I'm going to do the whole tape thing and probably will end up using the silicone on the top of the window which seems to be somewhat of a fix.
Any new news on the front windshield wind noise?
Those of you that did the silicone fix, are you still wind noise free?
When I hit around 40mph you can hear it. Its like someone turned on a switch. Been drowning it out with the radio for 2 yrs but decided to tackle the problem now.
Never had the noise on my 05 Screw. I have window vent guards,so I get a little noise from that.
There is a wiper shield available as a accessory add-on from some after-market suppliers. That may cut down on the noise from the cowl & wipers.
my 2006 has it but i have not even tried to get it fixed. i am still trying to figure out why my truck vibrates when slowing down to a stop, so i got the wind noise issuev on the backburner for now.

Try doing a search on the subject. There have been many threads about it.
Well did the tape thing on the top of the window and was amazed at how quiet it was in the cab now. Went to lowes and bought black silicone and filled that top channel and put a bead where the window meets the molding. Not the prettiest job, kinda rush it, but doesn't look to bad. Will peel off if I want to retry some other time.
