2000 f150 extended cab...I am having wind noise on the passenger side door. It seems to be where the rear and front door meet. How do you adjust these doors???
do they make a weatherstripping dressing? my third door doesn't latch right either, but i don't notice any wind noise, but i can definitely tell when i drive down washboard roads, it sounds like my trucks gonna fall apart!
i have a 2001 that had the same problem, a guy i know that works for ford said they adjust them sometimes on the line ...he opened my door braced his foot on the underside and wreifed hard on the top of the door towards the cab...thought he would break something for sure...no more wind noise...
Yeah, you just gotta torque on 'em a little to tighten up the gaps. I think I remember reading a TSB on wind noise. I think the procedure was to check for leaky seals with a piece of paper (the dollar bill test) and then "adjust" them by bracing the door and pushing/ pulling until the air gap tightens up.
