1. The picture shown above is the "Double Cab" model of the UK Ranger, which means it has a bed length of 1530mm (or 5.02 feet). So those people who are thinking it looks like (and has the limitations of) a Sport Trac are about as correct as those people who think it looks like a pickup truck. IMO.
2. The "Super Cab" model, which has the rear leg room and windows but no rear doors, has a bed length of 1753mm (or 5.75 feet) which ain't nothing to brag about, either. I ocassionally find my Ranger's 6' bed to be limiting, but not very often, so maybe 3 inches shorter ain't gonna change much about how I feel about that. In any case, I think if they shaved 3" off my Ranger's bed and added it to the cab area, you'd have the same truck as the UK Ranger SC, or something very close to it.
3. The "Reguar Cab" model is a through-and-through pickup truck, IMO, with a bed length of 2280mm (or 7.48 feet). Of course, that comes with a big trade-off (and something I very much prefer), and that is, a lack of practical and usable space behind the front seats.

I have driving there a lot. It is fun. Pedals are the same. Left turns at intersections (you turn into the near lane) and roundabouts are tricky until you get use to it particularly when the pace is quick.
one of the first times i drove in the uk i barreled into a roundabout the wrong way! holy cr*p it was not a good sight. luckily i was in a mini so i could do a 180 really quick, lol
course i did get pulled over by the police there once, while driving my bicycle!
(that's another story.......
the gearbox is easy to get the hang of though...
wish they would put a diesel in a new ranger here...

Well if you think that the flairside is small, thats cuz it is.....everything from the wheel wells out is gone. Try doing like I did and switch from a 8' bed F350 to a Ranger...that sucks. Now when I want to really haul anything I have to try and hoist it up into the back of my F350 Dually 4x4 which has a nice big bed but its so tall its almost impossible to lift anything up that high.
