I've drained the fluid out of the pan. dropped the pan and cleaned out the crap from the bottom of the pan. Pulled the Torque Coverter cover plug and BAM!!!!! No Torque Coverter Drain Plug. I read some where that you can rotate the engine by hand and have the Plug come around. How do you rotate the engine by hand????
not all transmissions have the plug, don't know about the e40D myself.
you can rotate it by hand, i've read that post myself (and since forgotten the exact procedure) search for "torque converter" and you should be able to find the old post.
next time just make sure the plug is pointed down before you begin.
FYI, if anyone wants to turn the engine by "hand" just get a socket to fit over the crank bolt, attach a wrench and possibly a breaker bar and turn away. It should spin fairly easily.
