just like to point out it's a big heavy truck. most average 6000 lbs.
anyways, I usually get around 14-15 in city. 15-16 mixed. 19 is my usual with just highway.
I have however seen 21 mpg once or twice. you're best bet is to keep it under 65 mph and drive very very lightly with all the extra wieght in the truck removed (tools, kids crap, etc...). oh yeah, and it doesn't hurt to have a tailwind.
Heyag33, You will enjoy this truck. I have totally enjoyed mine, I can't seem to drive it enough. I have put those 1100 miles on it since march 1st. You will have to post up some pictures so we can check it out.
10-4 GCOZMO, I will post some pics soon, its just thats its still a virgin, i need to accessorize a bit. Just like my other trucks, tryin to figure out the mod priority list vs. $$$$. I do love the truck, so quiet though, i can actually hear myself think, had diesel Fords since '97. Again, thanks all for the feedback
