I am not clear about turning off the fuel pump???? DO I pull the fuse out or is there a switch for it somewhere in the truck???
Thanks alot guys, really a big help!!......LOL
Sorry im a newB....
We were all born newbs bro.
Grab your owners manual and find the listed fuse for the fuel filter. Remove the fuse (this doesn't allow the fuel pumps to turn on) and crank the engine a few times as if you're trying to start it. This will relieve the pressure in the line, so when you disconnect the filter, the line won't be pressurized and it won't squirt fuel everywhere.
You will still have fuel spill out because there will be fuel in the lines, it just won't be pressurized.
