you got a good deal on that thing, they didn't lower mine that much because of the
0% financing but i got 4k taken off the sticker. mine was 47 sticker price. not a lariate but a crewcab with a lot of options XLT.

Not Sure, I Dont Want To Give You Bad Advise Or Lead You In The Wrong Direction, But I Havent Even Installed My Coolant System Yet, But I Will Probabley Be In The Same Shoe You Are Next Week When I Get Mine And Install It. I Saw One Thread Where Some Said Regarding Your Question, That If Its Gold In Color Do It, But I Think I Am Just Going To Call The Dealer And Ask Or Just Replace The Whole Coolant With An Upgrade When I Do The Install. Sorry I Couldn't Help. I Will Keep My Ears Open For Your Though

yeah. i am going to get the motorcraft today and put it in to top off the res tank.
i'll keep the zerex for another vehicle. the guy at the parts store though said if ford recommends that you only run their premium gold, then they have to give it to you for free, and i don't think they actually say you have to run it. so anything out there that says it's good for ford diesels, should work.
i guess anything is better than being too empty with it.

they can recommend the gold, but if they say it's the only one to use, then they legally have to give it to you for free. i topped mine off with the zerex before making a trip with a snowmobile trailer to NY state this past weekend. it was the same color as the factory coolant.
