I have read on another web site that we can run CAT extended life coolant in our rigs('97 F-250 HD).
Well i found a Freightliner dearler who carried it for a decent price. I went in to the store and the guy gave me Cheveron Delo extended life coolant, and said it was the same stuff.
My question, is he right and or is it alright to use this coolant(its red.)
I havent seen this coolant listed on any forums. And the subject on if you can use ELCs has found me confused.

Yes, that is the correct stuff. Any coolant with the EC-1 designation is equivalent to the "cat" coolant.
