AC problems
I'm about ready to shoot the truck!

OK, you mean test the wires, right?
If you have a Harbor Freight around you they have some fairly cheap and sometimes free with a purchase.

question, I'm looking at the diagram and it says "Central Junction Box" 116 is at the bottom right center. Is that the box that is on the passenger side right of where one would put their feet?
nothing works
I am in a rental car so I can take my daughter to the dr. I guess Ill check on the switch then I just don't know what else to do.
I am in the process of looking for a car. It's so frustrating. I have cried every night over this crap. It's just too much
thanks you so much
Karen
It sounds like the switch to me. Many have a resistor type switch and might work in other positions (low, med, or high)
Does the fan blow in heat or not-A/C positions?
If not, check for a new switch assembly at a junkyard or wherever.
Beyond that, take it to a mechanic who can follow/trace the wiring and such. There is a limit to what you really want to do on your own.
When you say "switch assembly " are you talking about the entire thing that has the ***** and all on it?
When you said "resistor type switch" I replaced rge Resistor, is there a switch for it? I have been looking at the manual and can't find one. Thanks, Karen

What city and state are you in?
If you had a fire in an area, you very well may have damaged wires in there somewhere?
Don't spend a bunch on a switch. I'm a little "less sure" because of the possibility of melted or damaged wiring and insulation.

I am in Birmingham Alabama, where it feels like you are breathing through hot wet cotton! The humidity is worse than the heat. I told someone before, I have a daughter with cancer and a newborn grandbaby, I HAVE to have air conditioning. I run it even in the winter just to get rid of the humidity!

Often when at a junkyard, they pull that whole panel out, unplug it, and give it to you. You take it back, pop yours out and unplug it, plug the 'new' one in and pop it back into place.
The switches often have a resistor built into them for the different speeds. But some are mentioning relays, which would imply that is not the case. So I dunno on your truck?
But you will then have a new switch assembly and a new blower. So you'll KNOW the components work.
If it Doesn't work, perhaps someone here can give you a test for the pigtail that runs into the switch? That would get the power 'to' (and likely 'through') the switch.
The only part left would be from the switch 'to' the blower.
A buddy of mine recently had to replace his switch on a similar year F150 for his blow motor, hopefully your luck is good, too

When I went through chemo, hot weather was a real problem. There were times I left the house to sit in the car with the A/C cranked. Things just don't work right when your body isn't up to par

There are many here who have been through, or had their loved ones go through this stuff. You are not alone.
We'll pray for you and your family

I try to do things myself as much as I can so I can help her, even with insurance, the medical bills are ridiculous! I appreciate the prayers more that you know. I am dating someone that is also very sick with systemic Lupus, so there's only so much that he can do to help, but he relapsed into a flare by putting in the blower. It took hours in this smothering heat. I felt so guilty, but he wouldn't think of letting me even try it when he saw how hard it was to get to!

It's always so wonderful to meet survivors! It gives me hope.

I've flatlined 3 times and sometimes get knocked down a few months at a time, but then He has more work for me to do

Back to your truck....
Do you know any mechanics or electronics geeks in your area? Anyone who knows how to test with a Digital Meter? Local vo-tech?
You're very far from me, or I'd bring mine for an afternoon. Otherwise, the heat would be nice for a bit. We have the joint-poking damp and cool weather now instead of Summer.
