I have a 1989 Ford chasis E-350 7.5 litre(460 F.I.) in my RV. I am having a problem with it shutting off and hesitating. It starts fine but when I drive it on a rough road it shuts off and it hesitates while driving sometimes. After driving for about 30 minutes and it was hot it started backfiring and completly shut off and would not start. After sitting for 30 minutes it started and I got it home but it was still acting the same. I have replaced the fuel filter, throttle position sensor, and coil pack so far. Could it be the ignition control module mounted on the distributor? If anyone can help or had this problem please let me know it will be greatly appreciated.
