Haven't tried yet. It's not bad on the lowest setting, on the two high settings it really smokes, it would never pass on those settings. Would probably be fine if you have a stock setting or removed the chip/programmer.

yes just tell us about your truck. best hting to do is fill out your signature. go toward the top of the page and on the right hand side it says user CP click that and go to edit signature. put as much info about your truck as you can. year, trans, 2wd or 4wd, any mods etc.

Ok as long as your truck is not a california emmisions model you have AA single shot injectors. If your truck is a CA emmissions it will have a valve cover sticker that says california emmission, a black hockey puck type thing on the back side of the mechanical fuel pump in the valley. If it a CA model you have AB split shot injectors. ALso you if you can find the 4 digit PCM calibration code that will tell you what emmisions standard you are set up for. If its a MME* code thats the california automatic code. if not then you will probably have a TD** code.

If you go with the 160's, you'll probably want to get rid of that .84 turbo housing and put the stock one back on. You'll also want to get an intercooler.

My truck is a '96 F250 auto 4x4, CA truck. What injectors should I have?

I read in one place that they are AE injectors? If so, any idea what they flow, and are they split shot, and what's the significance of split shot?

Thanks,

you should have AB split shot injectors. the split shots are mainly for emissions thus the california models use of them. they also make for quieter engine operation. they flow 120cc from what I have read.
