How can you tell if the injectors are stiking or not?
Stiction symptoms are typically defined as: Engine runs rough and seems to miss fire during the first few minutes of driving when the engine is cold or has not yet reached operating temperature- Then runs great when the engine is warm. My injector test is not what they do at the dealer... but gives a person a simple, relatively quick and good idea whether or not the engine issue is probably stiction related.
If you are consistantly experiencing stiction like symptoms when your engine is cold: Plug in the block heater overnight or for at least 3-4 hours before leaving your home in the morning (even in the summer). If your engine runs great with no usual rough running or missing during the first few minutes of driving, you probably have stiction- JMO
Just recently bought the truck 10k ago. Previous owner did not take care of fuel system. Within 2 days of owning,I found the secondary furl filter black and sucked together. I had to replace fuel pump, Fuel filters, oil change (oem filters), icp sensor and connector, #1 injector, fuel pressure regulator and thermostat. 3 weeks ago replaced both batteries and alternator. Ficm has 48 volts when cranking. Starts has white smoke, and misses bad. When warm runs better but not typical 6.0.
What is the fix for stiction? Replace all 8 injectors?

I believe the last couple of flashes "buzz the coils" on start up to help warm the oil in the spoil valves. I know my '08 vintage flash buzzes 'em every time you turn the key to on when your waiting for the glow plug light to go out. So my suggestion would be...if your spoil valves don't buzz on start up...get the truck re-flashed.
