That is about the time I start thinking of camping Chris although I do like camping in the winter.
I start thinking about it shortly after the last trip of the year. I don't know about winter camping in my area because of the snow and most places close up for the winter. Most of them open back up in mid April to May 1.
I am going to Northeast Ohio for my Aunt and Uncles 50th wedding anniversary. Taking the camper and staying at Bear Creek. This will be the shake down trip of the season. Just a few weeks to get the camper washed and cleaned up for the trip.
The 5th wheel we bought last year has a backup camera mounted. Only problem is there was no monitor for the truck. After some thought I have managed to make it work on my indash dvd player. I just need to wire it so I have a connection at the rear of the truck.
Zip let me know how the back up camera works. I have a wireless backup for my truck that is wired to the back up lights. Haven't figured out how to wire to the back of the camper.
Well the backup camera is installed. I used two flat 4 pin connectors one at that runs along the 5th wheel 7 pin. I mounted the other side of the 4 pin at the 7 pin on the truck. Power comes from the battery to a small toggle switch. Picture come up on my 7" dvd screen.
Well we made our first trip of the year last week. Rainy and cool. While sitting under the awning I really got looking at this and thought it was rather nasty.
