I just found one here locally. It is off of an 02 with 54k on it. Will this work on my 94? Is $250 a good price. Thanks

yes the 02 pump will work fine. the biggest problem with your early PSD is that anything pre 96 needs some extra work done to fix the drainback issue. the early pumps have a check valve in the pump. the lates have it in the timing cover. There is an article that give the how to for fixing the drain issue. I thought i had the link saved but can't seem to find it. I think its on my computer at home.

BTW $250 is a decent price. thats about what they go for on ebay.

here's the article. I have not done this mod but sounds as though it work well. I can't get the links to pic to work so the second link is to the picture album they are in. Let me know if you have question and maybe i can help or I can ask the guy who did this mod. He is on another forum.

Thanks for the help and info guys. Now it looks like the truck will have to wait for a couple of months. Got to pay for the wifes teeth and some things like washer and dryer for the house. I guess this will give me time to study up on this!

I just looked at Rubberducks thread. Wow! He's done an amazing job on that one.
I've been thinking about it for a while, but didn't really know where to start. That's no longer a problem. Now it's just $$$$$$$
