Value Help Please

I also found out that if no money is paid by a certain date that I can resue with added interest.
The guy tried to argue that a '72 F100 short bed Sport Custom couldn't be worth that much. I had pictures and every receipt from anything I've ever done to my truck ($4700.00 worth).
The judge told the defendant, "There are vehicles that are 35 years old that are pieces of junk and there are vehicles, like the plaintiff's, that are restored and nice. You already got a break when the plaintiff chose to take you to small claims instead. Judgement for the plaintiff in the amount of $7500.00, pay the man."
We'll see what happens now.
I have been doing some research. In a judgment for a traffic case in which there is over $750 damage you can have the California DMV suspend the defendant's driver's license indefinitely until the judgement is paid in full.
I left a message on the guy's phone and told him that I was going to fill out the DMV form to have his license suspended on the 12th of this month. I told him the DMV form number in case he did not believe me.
Today I received a letter form the court stating that the defendant had paid the judgement in full to the court on the 10th, plus accrued interest in the amount of $8362.67

I can't wait to get my truck fixed and back on the road!!!!
Thanks for all the advice and replies!
