transmission shakes???????
my 98 4x4 ext cab 150 has 175k on it, runs great except for the trans just starting shaking..........when im in overdrive and slightly give it gas it will shake, its only when you accelerate, normal driving everything seems fine? what could cause this?

Check where the extension housing bolts to the tranny main housing. There is a tsb out where the bolts work themselves lose or actually break off from the torque generated at that point. I had my bro's on the lift last spring here and all but 3 of his bolts had snapped off and fallen out. Of the remaining only 1 was actually somewhat tight still. Check your tranny fluid level also. Check the driveshaft u-joints also.....
