I have said it once, I will say it again.....I LOVE THIS PLACE.

GAS...DIESEL...GAS...DIESEL.

I love it!

They make an F250 Super Duty with a GASOLINE ENGINE TOO?! Now, WHY would they do something like THAT?

Gunner15a
Now that is just funny, I don't care who you are, that there is just funny!!!!!

So now Ill add my comment, my wife just asked me "Who are you pi$$ing off now?" I replied "In one of the forums there's a thread about Gas 5.4L vs. Diesel Powerstroke in Super Duty's" She then replies with a dumb look "The motor in my truck comes in a F250? Who would want that?"

Need I say more?

I found the excavators Operating weight is 13,800 lbs plus trailer weight would be close to 18,000 or over I'd guess.

The excavator is about 13,800 dry weight. I also have a dresser dozer which weights 22,000 dry. With either machine I'm just barely touching my overload springs. The weight is balanced well. The truck has no problems going or stopping. When towing a load of that size having the proper trailer is a must.

The truth of the matter is there are positives to both sides of the topic... just as there are negatives. Whatever a man chooses is his decision and only he knows what suits his life. However, it doesn't mean anything about that man or his personality, or how many chicks like him, or how he's "making up for something", or anything like that. Resorting to that stuff (Yes, cmpd, I know you were joking... just using an example for many other things I've seen.) makes you like like a spoiled 12 y/o that's screaming.... "my toy is better than your toy." Eventually the diesel owner grows up and realizes that not everyone is going to think like him, or maybe he doesn't. It's all a matter of pride... and I don't fault people for being proud of what they themselves have earned. Just realize that we all have preferences, and a preference cannot be right or wrong. Please don't take offense to this guys, I know that several of you (just like myself) have to restrain from popping off when these sort of things start up.... Sometimes I think it'd be better to have a completely different URL for the FTE diesel guys, but what'd be the fun in that??
Somebody please call Casey a Wambulance.

youn know what, i hardley tow annything...no no no i tow NOTHING!!! and everyone says you should have gotten a diesel...correct me if im wrong but my truck goes just as good as a 6.0 when nothing is being towed...so since i tow nothing and i get around just as easy as a diesel, why spend the extra $4500 plus maintenence. as far a gas mileage. prices for diesel here are 2.49 and gas just got down to 1.87..YEAH!!!! so your 15-16 mpg city and my 12-13 just about even eachother out right?? then add in the extra up front cost and i would definatley rather have mine...if i towed alot and really used my truck for what it was built for then MAYBE i would need more but im confident in my gutless 5.4 3.73 LS rearend pig. ive said this alot and ill say it again i raced a 7.3 and burnt it by about 7-8 truck lengths...now hook up some weight and im sure he would take me but since i never tow i would say that 7.3 is a more pig than mine. i respect everyones opinion but some of you seem like you are still in highschool by saying mine is better than yours...seriously drive your truck and make you payment and let everyone else drive there and make there payment, because some of you are seriously screwed up in the head if all you have to do is sit on a computer and bash other peoples "trucks", thats all they are...just a bunch of metal and plastic with a large price tag...i love going to work and talking to my dad about some of the things you guys b*tch about and he replies with a dumb look dont these people have a life?

Well I drove the exact truck you have in your sig for 6 months as a company vehicle, and no it does not go like a 6.0 empty, not even close.

I must not be able to read. I thought he compared it to a 7.3 not a 6.0?
