Window Guards ?
I have quite a few questions about different mods and accessories for the '06 FX4 Screw, formally known as mine. It is now my husband's and he's currently deployed, so I intend to do some mods and so on as a surprise.
Although, not entirely a surprise, I always do something fabulous for him while he's away....but I've already built a bar (complete with beer on tap!) and made his bathroom into a Star Wars junkie's dream......I'm left with tricking his truck as the only plausibe idea to honor him
I'll put these all in seperate topics for the use of others.
First....Which window guards are best for the darkest most streamlined look?

I have the AVS in-channel, and honestly don't like the fit that much. So that's a heads up for you. I've heard the Weathertech ones are excellent, but a little pricey. They have a low-profile look, fit in the window channel, and have the best fit as far as closing the windows goes. I plan on getting a set of those this spring to replace mine.

I have a stainless steel dash insert and billet grille(7 Piece bolt over) from my "04 Fx4 that I will sell pretty cheap.(100ish plus shipping) See if they are the same and let me know.

I also use the weathertech one on my '88. Love the way they blend in, so you don't really know there there. A friend has the stick on ones on his chevy, and he can't roll the window down as far as I can when it raining.
