Dog Question
Both love hanging their heads out the window, squinting into the wind.
Cat hates cat rides. He hides up under the dash or behind the brake and throttle pedals.
Jim Henderson
On Monday 2 of them broke the gate and took off from the yard.
I spent 2 hours looking all over town for them.
Talked to 20-30 people and few said they saw one ....over near...blah blah.
After 1 h 45 m I found Gizmo in the alley acrss the street soaking wet and muddy.
(They never usually seperate)
Got him in the car and hit the road again looking for Harley
found him 15 minutes 10 blocks from home.....wet.....muddy...confused...tired
hungry...thristy.
Got them home...they drank for 10 minutes and ate like dogs.....gave them a bath and they relaxed the rest of the day.
Me too .. I was stressed to the max.
I once took the dogs with me in the Truck to the recycle depot only to have Harley Jump out the open window.
This summer he jumped out the window of the car TWICE when he saw another dog.The 2nd time, he fell straight on his butt and immediate looked for me to help him.
No longer are the windows down more than 2".
