hmm, i find it very hard to keep a steady RPM with the lope idle. Even in neutral or Park, if you give it some pedal it will cut in and out once the engine gets to the RPM that the pedal desires as it tries to maintain it.
i havent had any problems with mine..but i got the 120 race..not the lope...
what you are explaning.isnt that what the lope is suppose to do???
some reason I'm thinking lope is suppose to sound and feel like an over cam ed gasser..
just couldnt hold on to your dp any longer could you???lol know the fealing..waited over a week then put it in waited a couple days befor my bts vb came in..but i had to try it out...

What were the different cables you were talking about??...
I know I'm gonna get this only half right, but the jist is, he's upgrading a cable that is part of the package. Sounded like a really really small percent of people had a couple of hiccups that this new style of cable fixed, so he's just going to do everything with them now, but its new, its on order, they aren't sitting there en masse. So he gave the option. You can have your chip now with the old, or get new fangled but ya gots ta wait. So thats it. I'm waiting.

I just got my box back today even though it was delivered last week..(outta town) and when I opened the box, there was a selector switch box in a silver bag and the computer box with a ribbon cable taped to the back end (opposite of the plug that sticks through the fire wall) that is plugged somewhere into the inside of the box. I would assume it is pretty idiot proof installing and using the switch? I got 5 positions and not sure but 0 is no start so I don't know where it should be defaulted to but we will see tomorrow. I also got some kind of mount bracket but not sure how the little control box mounts but the cable plugs into the middle back of the switch box. Gonna be interesting if this is old style or new and how to mount the box in an eye catching way..any suggestions??? Will update on the sounds tomorrow...
dp will always default to 1..that way if something happens you always have stock setting..no wires go though the fire wall just from the computer to where ever you put the switch..after opening the fuse panel cover I placed my box on the right side of steering column..you will see where 2 panel comes together and has an open seem..I slid my wire through that seem and Velcro the box there..I didn't get the holder cause he didn't have them at the time..id like to see a pic of the holder if you could..I might want one..thanks and let us know how you like them tunes..
