Hey all, just curious if anyone knows where a person can find a list of what the file names translate into for the related years applications.
For example, my TS chip is programmed with the XLE7xxx file series, this applies to my 99. But, since I have the programmer and a list of all the files for other years, which file series apply to the 01 computer?
I realize the code on the computer helps determine which files to use, but without the crossreference file, it's kind of difficult to know which files to use. :-)
Anybody happen to have the list or at least know where to get it?
I bought one off of ebay that had a NVK4 code on it for my 01 with a PMT2 code on the PCM. Worked fine and I was told that was the one for an 01 auto. Hope that helps. That's all I know about it.
Thanks for the info guys. Anyone know where I can get a hold of related, newer files? For example, my chip currently has XLE7.ORI (pos 1) and XLE7HILD (pos 2), what I have on the CD (for either PMT or NVK) is NVK4STOCK and nothing for the high idle program. I have positions 3 to 6 covered with the 50, 75, 100 and 140 (fuel) programs which are on the CD.
Also, the date stamps on the files on my chip are from 12/8/2007 where as the dates on the files on the CD I have are 10/31/2002.
If I am going to reprogram my chip using the burner I have, I'd sure like to use the newer files.
Next question, anyone ever pulled a program off of the chip as opposed to just erasing it?
You can buy burners and such from TS performance, call them and ask. They send you files that can be slected but not changed and you can burn your own chips. I have been kicking around getting one so Tadd can just E-mail my tunes to me, rather then ship a chip of to him.
