I'm not sure how this site works yet just got on to it but my dad has a 79 f 150 Midas touch custom brown with the same paint scheme as the black and blue one

They are rare in this paint scheme only seen three including my dads

This has been quite the long running thread. I'm glad you guys have been so dedicated to finding these trucks. Good restoration job Benson. I must admit that when I saw the interior shot it gave me a flash back to some basement rec rooms that we partied in during the 70's. Only thing missing was the lava lamp hanging from a gold link chain. lol. Thanx for keeping this thread going and keeping the trucks on the road.

I'm trying to get the truck finished. I have been working 4 years. I finished the cab paint work today. I'm just learning how to paint. I original bought the truck in 1980 and sold it 1983. About 2010 my brother in law found the truck in Pocahontas Arkansas. I purchased it but it was a total wreck. It was good to see it again. We ran the Vin to make sure it was the same truck. I have only seen about 4 of these customs. It was done in Elkhart In. I hope I can finish it. The hardest project is my life . I will post a picture of today's work. Also a door from a few days ago. Thanks
