Bingo. Found it. Search the gallery f150 custom. It is a 78. Black paint with orange graphics.
That is a nice truck.
That is it. My brothers was the same truck but blue.
I mentioned that I had a pic of his truck and I ran across it when my Grandmother past away last year but now I have to find it again. I forgot about this post till a member sent me a message that he thought that this was the truck i was talking about and it is.
Would the owner of this find piece of machinery post a pic here. That is a CLASSIC. There may not be another one of these trucks around. My brother wishes he never repainted his and changed the truck around but he didn't think much about it 25 years ago because there were 7 or 8 of them around here then.
Another thing I am wondering. Tha truck is in Wash. I am in KY. If that truck is originally from there that would mean that there were probably several more of them then this one and the 7 or 8 around that where here and it was a bigger thing then I thought.

As the van craze fadded out in the late 70's, a lot of the van conversion companies switched to converting/ assembly line customizing pick-ups for couple of years before folding up.
The truck in the picture reminds me of one of those trucks. Not saying it is one tho.....
I saw this one on Ebay awhile back. In the sellers' description he said that the truck was all original with like 20,000 miles on it. He said that the stripes, rollbar, etc. were part of a conversion package added on at the dealer.
