Reading Codes
Heys guys, I got a 2000 f-150, 5.4
the MIL is on. One of my friends has a 2001 Mustang w/ the 3.8, and he pressed the odometer reset pin thing in some specail order, or way, and it displayed the DTC's on the odometer readout. I was wondering if my truck has the same thing built in, or am I going to have to plug a computer to it to read them?

alright, well I got the book, and it has what all the codes mean, I just need to get them off the truck, and I don't own my own genisis or anything of the such!.....but that is good to know that there IS a sequence.....maybe tomorrow I'll play around w/ it, and I may get lucky and figure it out!
