Loosing digital odometer reading

My 2000 F150 has been loosing the digital odometer reading it comes on and sometimes goes out for a time, is it an easy fix, or what do I need to buy to fix or replace it.

You will get faster results in the corect forum...this is for 2009 F150's...

It is a bad solder joint. Easy fix.

If you do a search you'll find instructions on how to repair it. Mine does the something but I just ignore it since I'm to lazy to do the repair.

I soldered mine, easy to do, worked fine after that, I couldn't see the broken joint so I heated them all, just make sure you don't have the solder bleed over to another contact, if you do try dragging the solder tip inbetween the posts, if that don't work use a small screw driver to remove it.
