Can a '95 digital odometer be reset?

Can a '95 digital odometer be reset?
I recently picked up a used cluster w/tach to replace my original non tach cluster. Is there a way to set the digital odometer to match my original cluster? Is there a chip in the cluster that stores the odometer reading? How does it remember the odometer reading without a power source?
