service engine soon- won't scan
My 2000 4.6 has a service engine soon light on, and it wont scan. It wont even power up the scan tool. Do i have a wiring problem to the scan connector port, or is there something not allowing it to scan. Thanks for any help!

Blown fuse.
Forget which one, don't have the data on this computer. Can check in morning.
For awhile, Ford was running the OBDII test port off the cigat lighter circuit, then they switched it. Can't remember the year of the change...
