odometer reads error

odometer reads error
Hey guys i need help, after changing my vss in the rear end the odometer reads error. No codes, just the word error. Any ideas?

Replace the PSOM if it just says "ERROR".
If it says "ERROR 3" then it means conversion constant must be programmed.

Ok, well i'm back on this problem. The odometer worked fine untill i chaged the vss, could it be the vss that i bought from autozone?
